Learning Workshops, Seminars, and Events

NewStories offers online and in-person learning experiences that cultivate connection, kinship, and tools for navigating today’s complex challenges. We create relational learning spaces which offer opportunities for peer-learning as well as learning from those with deep mastery in different domains. NewStories knows that learning must be rooted in place, people, and purpose—disconnected knowledge alone is not enough. Now is the time for cultivating collective wisdom in action.

There is no single “expert” or one-size-fits-all solution that can be universally applied to every community. Instead, we emphasize emergent, relational learning where leaders, practitioners, and community members come into deeper understanding of their own lived experiences while weaving in insights from others who bring fresh perspectives and experiences.

Personal Principles Workshop Series

Join the NewStories team for a three-part workshop series in March, where we’ll explore the Principles-Guided CoCreation (PGCC) process—engaging in practices that deepen connection, inspire new narratives, and provide a clear path for transformative, values-driven change.

Regeneration After Collapse Learning Series

Summer 2025

Join us for this multi-session exploration of tools, insights, and pathways for navigating crisis and co-creating a more regenerative future. Through interactive sessions and conversations with guest speakers—leaders, practitioners, and community organizers with lived experience in disaster response and recovery—we will deepen our understanding of how to meet collapse with courage, creativity, and collective action.

Exploring Illumination in Transformative Change

Summer 2025

Illumination is the art of bringing knowledge, stories, and experiences to light in ways that inspire change and reveal new pathways forward. This workshop will explore how to cultivate the capacity to illuminate what matters most—shedding light on untold stories, emerging possibilities, and shared wisdom. Through guided practices and deep conversation, we will learn how to responsibly and authentically co-create illumination that sparks transformation in our communities and the world.

Organizational Principles Series

Fall 2025

This series explores how Principles-Guided Co-Creation can be applied at the organizational and systems level to navigate complexity, align values with action, and foster meaningful transformation. Through interactive sessions, we will uncover how organizations can illuminate shared principles, adapt to change, and co-create regenerative futures.
