Mikako Yusa

In 2010 I translated Otto Scharmer’s Theory U into Japanese and co-founded the Presencing Institute of Japan.

I am a certified coach for systems coaching specialized in relationships and team building. I also coach corporate executives for their leadership development and work globally as a co-creation project facilitator and a program designer for social change.

I specialize in organizational development and social innovation, and my areas of expertise are: leadership development, performance and development coaching, conflict management, team building, and co-creation process facilitation.

I’ve worked for a global corporation as a learning and development manager responsible for leadership development, succession planning, executives’ individual coaching, and team building. I have also been working with a number of global organizations as an executive coach and program designer and facilitator.

I got my coach training with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and Center for Right Relationship (CRR). I am certified in MBTI, and Ken Blanchard’s situational leadership training. I have also studied Non Violent Communication (NVC).

I have a MA in positive organizational development from Case Western Reserve University where I focused on whole system approach for organizational change.
